[ToMES] nevertheless transcribes ãte les without comment, and [JMMS] fixes the Castilianism without changing the sense, writing ante lhes. To my mind, though, the presence of a parallel ant' eles just two lines up is clear evidence that this is the correct reading here too. 11  b
